Terms of Use
Effective October 8, 2026
ReturnGenie is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to it. If they conflict, the Standard EULA applies.
What ReturnGenie does
ReturnGenie helps you keep track of return windows and warranties for things you've bought, and reminds you before they close.
Deadlines are estimates
Return deadlines are estimated from each store's usual published return policy and the details in your order confirmation. Stores change their policies, and many have exceptions for particular items, sales, holidays or membership levels. Reading a confirmation can also get details wrong. Always confirm the deadline with the retailer before relying on it. We aren't responsible for missed returns, refused returns or any resulting loss.
Retailers
ReturnGenie isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any retailer it mentions. Store names and trademarks belong to their owners.
ReturnGenie Pro
The free version tracks up to 10 items at a time. ReturnGenie Pro removes that limit and is offered as:
- Yearly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically each year unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Lifetime purchase. A one-time payment that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.
Gmail import
If you connect Gmail, you allow ReturnGenie to read your email to find order confirmations and subscription emails, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Gmail remains subject to Google's terms. You can disconnect at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use ReturnGenie to break the law or to access email or accounts that aren't yours.
No warranty
ReturnGenie is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that the app will be error-free or that its deadlines and reminders will be accurate or delivered on time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost refunds or purchases, arising from your use of ReturnGenie. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date above. If you keep using ReturnGenie after a change, the new terms apply.
